New Hampton High School Bulletin for Monday, August 24, 2026
Date 8.24.26 Day 1 Happy first day of school. All students will report to homeroom for immediate attendance and then we will call students down for our kickoff assembly. If students don't have classes scheduled, they didn't turn in a sheet and they need to see Mrs. O'Donnell. If students want to switch classes, they should follow their schedule and email Mrs. O'Donnell. Student's permanent schedule will take effect on Thursday. Please review with students teacher lunch shifts 7th hour before we dismiss to 5th hour.

There will be a Fall Trap League starting in September. If you are interested, please talk to Ms. Holschlag about it and she will write your name down. Here are the dates of the league:

FCCLA FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) would love to have you join this student-led organization with Mrs. Schmitt as the advisor. We have a fall rally in October and a state competition in March. We are still in our beginning years, but we need YOU to join and make FCCLA rock! You have many choices for competition: cake competition, Iowa Pride, job interviews, fashion design, food trucks, renovation projects, and so much more. Plus, we plan on doing community service projects. FCCLA looks great on your future resume, and college scholarships are available up to $10,000. If you are interested in joining FCCLA or have any questions, please email Mrs. April Schmitt. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th is the registration deadline.
